🔒 Your Data, Your Control

Privacy Policy

Last Updated: January 2025

💡 TL;DR: StreamNinja does not track, log, or store your M3U playlists, IPTV URLs, or stream tokens. Your playlist data is processed temporarily in memory and immediately discarded. We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect NO personal data by default. StreamNinja does not require user accounts, email signups, or registrations.

1.1 Playlist Data (Temporary Processing Only)

When you paste an M3U URL into the analyzer, our server fetches that file into volatile RAM strictly for the duration of the analysis. Under no circumstances is your playlist data:

  • Written to any persistent storage (database, disk, or SSD).
  • Logged to any file.
  • Shared with third parties.
  • Used for training AI models.

1.2 Contact Form Data

If you voluntarily submit a message via our Contact form, we temporarily receive your name, email address, and the message content. This data is stored in a JSON file on the server for the sole purpose of responding to your inquiry. We never use this data for marketing or newsletters.

1.3 Server Logs (Technical Necessity)

Like every web server, our infrastructure records standard connection metadata for security and debugging. This includes:

  • Anonymous connection timestamps (no persistent IP logging).
  • Aggregate HTTP error codes.
  • Rate-limited request counters (used for abuse prevention).

These logs are automatically deleted within 7 days. They do NOT contain the URLs, playlist contents, or personal data of individual users.

2. Cookies & Local Storage

StreamNinja does not deploy any tracking cookies, marketing pixels, or third-party analytics scripts (such as Google Analytics).

The only local storage mechanisms used are:

  • Service Worker Cache: Required for Progressive Web App (PWA) functionality. This caches static assets (CSS, icons) to enable offline loading. No personal data is cached.
  • Browser JavaScript Memory: PDF reports and channel lists are generated in your browser's temporary memory. Nothing is written to your disk.

3. Google AdSense & Third-Party Services

StreamNinja displays advertisements via Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and web beacons to serve personalized ads based on your browsing history. However, AdSense is only loaded after a 3.5-second delay to prioritize tool performance.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. For more information, see How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

As stated above, we retain virtually no user data. The only persistent data is contact form messages, which you can request to be deleted at any time by emailing us through the Contact page. We will delete all associated data within 30 days of your request.

5. Third-Party Links & Embeds

StreamNinja may link to external websites (such as the IPTV-org GitHub repository for test playlists). We have no control over the privacy practices of those websites and encourage you to review their policies.

The M3U/stream URLs you test are provided by you and belong to third-party servers. StreamNinja takes no responsibility for the content or privacy policies of those servers.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of any data we may hold about you.
  • Right to Deletion: Request that we delete any personal information we may hold.
  • Right to Opt-Out: You may opt out of Google personalized advertising as described in Section 3.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the form on our Contact Us page.

7. Security Measures

We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your temporary data during transit, including:

  • All connections encrypted via HTTPS (TLS 1.3).
  • Security headers (Helmet.js) prevent XSS and clickjacking.
  • Rate limiting mitigates abuse and brute-force attempts.
  • Private IP blocking (SSRF protection) prevents data exfiltration.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify users via a notice on our homepage.
